International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD)


The International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) is a professional membership association dedicated to advancing quality in the assessment of musculoskeletal health through education, certification and facility accreditation.

We are the musculoskeletal health profession’s global voice, chief advocate, principle DXA educator and trusted peer group. The Society represents all professions who are dedicated to providing quality assessments and therapies to those living with osteoporosis and other bone disorders.

ISCD is an international network of industry professionals with more than 2,700 individual members from over 60 countries, collaborating to transcend borders in the service of superior patient care.

Malaysian Osteoporosis Society (MOS)


Malaysian Osteoporosis Society (Persatuan Osteoporosis Malaysia) was formed in November 1996 with the aim of improving the care of patients with osteoporosis. The Society activities include conducting CME lectures, scientific meetings and public forums.

Our objectives are to increase awareness of osteoporosis and its improve the state of management of osteoporosis, to collect, compile and disseminate accurate information on all aspects of osteoporosis to the medical profession and public and to promote and support research into all aspects of osteoporosis.

We are working towards the eradication of osteoporotic fractures in Malaysia.

Malaysian Society of Radiographers (MSR)


The Malaysian Society of Radiographers is a professional body that caters to the interests of the Medical Radiation Science Fraternity. It is affiliated to the ISRRT (International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists).

Our objectives are to promote and develop for the public benefit the science and practice of radiography and radiotherapeutic technology and allied subjects, to promote, study and research work in radiography and radiotherapeutic technology and allied subjects and to publish the results of all such study and research, to further public education, to protect the honour and interests of persons engaged in the practice of radiography and radiotherapeutic technology and allied subjects including the regulation of relations between such persons and employers and employers’ associations and to further all such objects which a trade union may lawfully pursue in accordance with statute.
